Post Title:   Social Worker Prison Based   
Location:     Inverness
Hours:         35 hours per week
Duration:     Permanent
Salary:         HC09 £37,146 – £40,222 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job  Purpose:

• Providing statutory Reports for the Parole Board.
• Providing a duty social work service to the prison, ensuring all statutory prisoners are seen in line with NOS.
• Liaising with prison staff and other prisons
• Attending parole hearings as required
• Representing Justice social work at SPS meetings including risk management meetings/ ICM’s
• Undertaking and updating risk assessments including LSCMI/RM200 and SA07

Requirements

You should be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council on the ‘Social Worker’ part of the Register and as such hold a qualification that is recognised by the SSSC as being equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (DipSW)

Full driving licence.
