Hourly Rate: £19.50 – £21.31

Scottish Borders Council are looking to recruit highly motivated, qualified Children & Families Social Workers to a number of teams to support the provision of good outcomes for children and young people.

Where this is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from home as part of the role you will be provided with the necessary IT equipment by the Council, however, you will be responsible for the provision of any required furniture.
Approved qualification in Social Work and registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
