An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen to join an expanding team focusing on early intervention and prevention within North Ayrshire. You will be working alongside a small team of social work staff co located with Health Visiting Services You will be working in collaboration with parents and other supporting services to provide early support and help to families including those who have children with disabilities, lone parents, ethnic minority families, young parents under 25, families with children under 1 years of age and larger family groups with three or more children. The team adopt a strength- based approach and are passionate about working alongside families in a trauma informed manner and with a focus on establishing relationship-based approaches. Enabling families to reach in for support to ensure they are accessing the right support at the right time. This includes assisting families to develop links within their communities and creating opportunities for sustained connection with for example our third sector partners.
