We are offering an exciting opportunity to join an extremely enthusiastic and creatively thinking team. Having responsibility for statutory long term social work, there is a huge variation in the work undertaken which means there are no two days the same.
The team consists of a healthy mixture of experienced and newly qualified staff. We are a supportive and nurturing team operating across the west localities of Scottish Borders. We work closely with our partner agencies and are afforded the opportunity to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues, service users, and professionals across the service as a whole.
Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW, CSS.
Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
Up-to-date understanding of the key issues and relevant theoretical background facing professional children and families social workers, particularly related to child protection and looked after children.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement for the post. *
