Qualified Social Workers and Mental Health Officers who must hold a current Social Work Qualification and be registered with SSSC.
This post is for experienced social workers and it is advantageous to be Child Protection trained or be a MHO.
The post is within the emergency out of hours social work service covering Glasgow, East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire Inverclyde, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire.
This is a generic service which means that you will work across all care groups.
The post is part time and is pro rata the full rota which covers from 4pm – 9am weekdays and 24 hours per day weekends, the service also covers all public holidays for the 6 local authorities. This roster is day, back and nightshifts.
This is an interesting and challenging role working in the largest out of hours social work service in Scotland.
SSSC is required for this post, please note as part of the local government pay deal, local authority staff are currently not required to pay SSSC fees.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
