Tripod is currently recruiting for Qualified Social Workers to join the Duty and Assessment team at Walsall Council
Immediate start with ongoing contract. £33.30 per hour. Hybrid working
Key Responsibilities:
* Initial Assessments: Screen and assess the needs of children and families referred to the service.
* Child Protection: Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans for children at risk.
* Duty Work: Respond to urgent cases and manage crisis situations as the first point of contact.
* Case Management: Manage a caseload, develop care plans, and review cases regularly.
* Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work with health, education, and other professionals to support families.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate case records and prepare reports as needed.
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England
* Background in child protection, safeguarding, and family assessment.
* Strong communication, analytical abilities, and ability to manage complex cases.
