Post Title:         Social Worker (Disability – Children and Young People)
Location:          Inverness                    
Hours:              35 hours per week      
Duration:         Permanent      
Salary:             HC09 £39,020 – £42,242 p.a.

 Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Provide a Social Work Service to children and families affected by disability, including children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This will include specific activities in relation to children who are or require to be accommodated and to the protection of children. It also includes providing a service to vulnerable young people in transition to adulthood and to adult services.

Requirements

Current Driving Licence

You should be registerd with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)

CQSW, DipSW, CSS or approved equivalent qualification recognised by CCETSW.

At least 3 years Social Work experience of working with children and families affected by disability
