Your new role

We are looking for a social worker who will be enthusiastic and creative, committed to a collaborative approach with individuals to promote well-being and to safeguard and promote independence, and who will focus on what matters to people who are seeking support. We believe that by exploring people’s goals and aspirations, their strengths, and networks of support, we can help people to stay independent for longer and connected to their communities.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Enhanced DBS Check
• Knowledge of Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014

• Appropriate social work qualification (i.e., Degree in Social Work, DipSW or equivalent).
• Ability to organise, prioritise and manage a caseload
• Post qualifying social care experience.
• Full Driver’s license & access to own travel

• Registration as Social Worker with Social Care Wales
