We are looking to appoint a Social Worker within West Dunbartonshire , to work as part of the Integrated Adult Services within the Health and Social Care Partnership.
The post holder will provide assessment, review and care management service to adults, and their carer’s, to be carried out within the framework of legislation, relevant policies and procedures. They will promote social inclusion and health and well being of individuals.
The successful candidate will have a strong sense of professional identity with a sound
understanding of Self Directed Support, Adult Support and Protection and Adults with Incapacity legislation, as well as an ability to work both independently and as part of an integrated team.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
