Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced children social worker to join their esteemed client's long-term Children's Safeguarding team. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a passion for working with children and families, as well as expertise in identifying and managing child protection concerns and addressing ongoing issues.

Role Overview: This challenging and rewarding role involves working with complex cases, including:

High-end Children in Need (CIN) and child protection cases.
Managing cases that may progress to care proceedings, requiring a solid understanding of court work and the statutory requirements for children who are looked after.Key Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing measurable, timely interventions in Child Protection/CIN plans.
Identifying when further intervention is required to protect children within your caseload and taking appropriate action.
Championing practice improvement, actively participating in process, procedure, policy, and strategy development.
Managing and assessing risk, leveraging technical authority and deep expertise in social care practice.
Supporting and mentoring others while maintaining credibility and hands-on experience in complex cases.Who We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will:

Be registered with Social Work Wales.
Possess significant experience in progressing Child Protection and CIN plans.
Demonstrate expertise in assessing and managing risk in complex cases.
Be organized, resilient, and adept at balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on the best outcomes for children.
