Social Workers – Children and Family Practice team
We are looking for highly motivated social workers to work in our children and families practice teams. The teams work mainly with children aged 0-16 years. Ideally you will have experience of working within child protection, with Looked after Children and the Children’s Hearing System. Knowledge of current legislation, experience of direct work with children and permanence planning is also required. We are developing services inline with The Promise and the Setting the Bar report and aligning services to lead professionals and weighted caseloads – for example youth justice, pre-birth as well as mentoring opportunities across the childcare structure.

We encourage both experienced and newly qualified social workers who are creative and dynamic to apply. We have developed an innovative and exciting induction programme for Newly Qualified Social Workers and provide weekly NQSW’r support groups that offer an opportunity to gain confidence and competence across the teams. .
