An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified social worker with the Argyll and Bute Throughcare and Aftercare team. This location of this post is flexible but will involve travel across the whole local authority and placements out of authority. This post might involve unsociable hours.
You will have personal qualities, professional skills and knowledge which will be applied and tested in all aspects of service delivery within a busy area team setting.
Main duties will include complex assessments, case management, family intervention and recording and monitoring work using an electronic case recording system.
It is essential that you have a BA(Hons) in Social Work or equivalent , be registered with the SSSC, committed to social work values , have effective interpersonal communication, IT, assessment and writing skills, be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative and have a flexible approach.
If successful you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
