We are looking for a qualified Social Worker to join our busy team at Horizon, based at 28A Millgate Loan, Arbroath. Formally known as the “Throughcare Aftercare” team; duties include supporting care experienced young people into independence.
We support young people located throughout Angus and other areas and includes both practical and emotional support to young people aged up to 26 years old.
Being trauma informed and trauma responsive is integral to the role.
Other areas of work include Youth Justice; assessing and supervising young people who have come into contact with the Justice System and providing support to Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) and young people.
Excellent oral and written communication is essential for the role.
The preferred candidate will report to the Team Leader.
