Hourly rate of pay: £19.15-£21.44
Candidates will be salary placed within the scale and assessed on the basis of appropriate relevant experience and qualifications.

The Community Review Team is responsible for the quality assurance of services received by people being supported by Care at Home providers. Social Workers within the team carry out individual reviews with service users to ensure care and support maximises people’s independence and is delivered cost effectively. Social workers also carry out duties relating to Adult Support and Protection.

In line with current Government guidance, any PVG costs associated with this role will be paid for by the Scottish Government. There will be no charge to the applicant.
To provide an effective service to service users and their families/carers, promoting a high standard of practice, in accordance with statutory obligations, policies and procedures.

Education/Qualifications
Degree in Social Work (or other recognised Social Work Qualification, ie. CQSW, Dip SW, CCETSW).
Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
Driving Licence
A full current driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential to manage the workload of this post*

PVG/Disclosure Requirements
This post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
All preferred candidates for posts carrying out regulated work with these groups will be required to become a PVG Scheme member, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if they are already a member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made by East Lothian Council.
