This is an exciting opportunity to work in the expanding area of fostering and adoption and to be part of one of our core Council of the Future projects. You will work as part of our well established specialist Adoption and Fostering Team to assess, train, recruit and support foster and adoptive carers and contribute to the development of the service and post-adoption supports. The team work closely with colleagues in local teams and with a variety of internal and external agencies and disciplines.
You must have significant children and families experience and ideally have experience of fostering and adoption. You must be a registered Social Worker and also have the ability to be mobile across the Council.
This post is temporary until 31st August 2022 to cover a period of secondment.
