Social Worker – Access and Emergency Social Care Services

Salary: £34,057 – £40,275
Hours: 36 per week

We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Social Worker in the Social Care Direct Response Team, (first point of contact for social work and social care services in Edinburgh).

This role will involve being part of the new multidisciplinary frontline duty team, comprising of Senior Social Workers, Senior Occupational Therapist, Senior Practitioners, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Community Care Assistants, who`s role is to respond to all new referrals received on behalf of the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership, relating to social work and social care services.

The successful individual must have the ability to build positive and productive relationships and have good organisational and analytical skills. The successful individual will undertake statutory roles and responsibilities for adult support and protection work, and therefore an ability to manage risk is essential, with at least one year of experience as a Council Officer.
