Qualified Social Workers who either possess the Mental Health Officer qualification or who are ready to complete MHO training are being sought to assist in the delivery of our statutory interventions and contribute to complex care management within a multi-disciplinary context. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with experience of promoting independence and personalisation within legislative frameworks. As such you will have sound knowledge of assessment and care management; have practiced extensively under the relevant legislation; and work in a person centred manner, which will be fully embedded in your practice. You will be confident in managing risk and looking for innovative ways to promote independence and link people into the local community. Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with SSSC Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
As Scottish Social Services Council registration is a statutory requirement for this post under the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001, you must either be already registered or be registered within 6 months from the date you start in this post. Your employment is subject to your continued registrations.
