Salary: £25,752.18 – £28,526.18 pro rata per annum

1 x 35 hours per week

1 x 28 hours per week

Role Purpose

The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with young people and families facing difficulties and who need long term social work support. This includes children subject to child protection registration as well as within the legal framework of the Children’s Hearing system. The post holder will work with looked After Children, including children subject to permanence planning.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Children & Families Long Term Team West. We are an enthusiastic and innovative team providing a statutory service to children and their families living in the west of Scottish Borders.

Essential

The successful candidate will have to demonstrate a good standard of written work and possess a relevant qualification to SVQ3 or equivalent.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.*
