During Covid-19, we are taking the opportunity to work in different ways and this includes how we continue to undertake our interviews. We are using Microsoft Teams to progress with interviews virtually and all you need is a device with a camera and access to the internet. We will provide guidance and instructions on how to use this method if your interview is being held virtually.
This post will be based within Bridgegate House in Irvine. The post is permanent part time within the Service Access team and you will be involved in providing initial assessments. The team sits within the health and social care partnership and include social workers, social work assistants, service access assistants and occupational therapists. We are the gateway to services and we work in partnership with other health and social care professionals in North Ayrshire. You will have responsibility to carry out initial enquiries and assessments in order to support people within the community, and to act as a filter for others who may require further support from statutory services. This will include identifying priorities in regards to either child protection or adult support and protection concerns. For more details see the attached Role Profile below.
