Social Work Assistant (Children and Families Practice Team) – Fixed term for 12 months
South West Children and Families Practice Team, Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre

Salary: £24,890 – £28,854
Hours: 36 per week

The successful post holder will contribute to the provision of a range of services to meet the needs of Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children. The role will be varied with a wide range of responsibilities. The successful post holder will work in a strengths based and restorative way alongside Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children, build positive relationships, identify what they need to keep them safe and support plans which improve their wellbeing.

Experience of direct work with children is essential.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
