To provide a focal point for the exploration and initiation of Social Enterprises that contribute to meeting health and social care needs in Moray and to use Social Enterprise as a means of increasing community capacity to meet health and social care needs in Moray.
An understanding of general business principles.
An understanding of the issues surrounding community development and regeneration.
An understanding of how Social Enterprise can support vulnerable people.
An understanding of Health & Social Care requirements and responsibilities.
An understanding of the needs of vulnerable people.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline or the ability to demonstrate the equivalent experience in social enterprise development
Self motivated and self-confident
An ability to work in partnership with multiple stakeholders.
Good negotiating, facilitation and influencing skills
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the Service. Due to the rural nature of Moray this is normally undertaken by use of a car/van.
Be able to develop business plans and marketing strategies.
To be diligent in the support provided to clients.
Be able to develop opportunities for development of initiatives that meet social or
health care need.
Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as and when required to meet the demands of the service.
