Post Title: Social Care Worker
Location: The Orchard, Inverness
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £28,783 – £32,111 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Along with fellow social care colleagues employed by Care & Learning; provide direct care and nurturing to children and young people, affected by disabilities, who will reside in Applegrove – a 2 bedded unit adjacent to the Orchard

To collaborate closely with other professionals in Care & Learning, Education, Health and Voluntary Agencies, to assess the needs of children affected by disability and their families and provide integrated services to support them.

To work in partnership with parents and carers.
