We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with knowledge and experience of delivering professional care and support to individuals with a variety of care needs as well as having knowledge in working with people with learning disabilities and complex care needs.  You must be able to demonstrate skills in assessment, recording, and communication with others, whilst being flexible and positive in your approach. Working as part of a team is a big part of what we do here in Thornton Gardens as well as working on your own with service users delivering a high standard of care.

Tis will be a fulltime post working a 37-hour week over a rota basis, this includes early shifts, back shifts and working weekends. Out of hours payments are paid for after 8pm and there are also opportunities for over time to cover annual leave/ staff shortages. Thornton Gardens is a short breaks service based in Bonnybridge Falkirk, we facilitate service users and their families within our community with a period of respite, ensuring we deliver a high standard of care working with a person-centred approach. Our service users are at the forefront of everything we do here, ensuring the SSSC and care service standards are incorporated into our delivery of care and support.

Candidates must have or be willing to work towards an SVQ 3.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
