The post holder will have knowledge of the care needs associated with older adults and individuals living with dementia, mental health, learning and physical disabilities. You will need good communication, assessment and caring skills, a flexible and positive attitude and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
These posts are available across our five services where we provide person centered care and support to adults on a long term, intermediate and reablement basis. These posts include shift and weekend working.
You must be able to register with the SSSC as a Practitioner in care home services for adults and qualify within the regulatory timescale.
A Social Care (SVQ Level III) qualification together with Moving and Handling training would be desirable.
This job requires contact with vulnerable groups therefore you will require to gain/maintain PVG Scheme membership.
