1 x 35 hours per week; 1 x 21 hours per week Maternity Leave cover; 1 x 16 hours per week Maternity leave cover (weekend post); 1 x 28 hours temp

As a Social Care Support Worker you will work as part of a team on a rota basis (including weekends).

You will contribute to the care planning process for residents in consultation with other staff.

You will ensure that care practice is non- discriminatory and that residents personal beliefs and preferences are appropriately acknowledged

You should  be aware of and responsible to the needs of older people with mental health problems, e.g. dementia

You will provide for the personal care, support and emotional needs of older people requiring residential care.

You will provide a service compatible with professional social work practice and within the policies, procedures and standards set by the service.

You must possess an SVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent and have experience of working in a care home setting with older people

A PVG check is required for this post.
