As a Supply Social Care Officer, you will provide support to individuals to help them achieve their individual outcomes, promote their independence and social inclusion and provide personal care where necessary. Don’t worry about having previous care experience, we provide comprehensive training and development opportunities to help you become a great carer, although previous experience is desirable.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes community nurses and social workers, you will provide person-centred care to ensure the best possible care, particularly to those who have more complex needs. No two days are the same as a Supply Social Care Officer that provides you with the opportunity to work in a variety of different care settings, which can offer a varied experience. You may find yourself working in services such as care homes, housing support, care at home (HART) and day care with a variety of individuals including older people and adults with learning disabilities. The Individual
We can offer a range of hours and flexible work patterns within services across all local geographical areas in Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership. A Driving Licence is desirable in some roles and essential for others.
Covid-19 Measures – The wellbeing of our teams is paramount to us and we continue to support our teams by following all government guidelines and advice from health and regulatory bodies. To ensure our staff feel safe and confident, we have access to vaccines to protect you and also ask that our staff take part in regular lateral flow testing, although this is voluntary, to minimise the spread of the virus.
