An exciting opportunity has arisen for social care officers to be recruited to the locality Adult Social Work Teams within Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership. Posts are being recruited for on a full and part time basis, both temporary and permanent contracts are available.

The post holder will be part of locality assessment and care management team in providing services to adults and their carers through direct client contact, including agreed levels of assessments and support along with any other relevant duties. 

The hours of working are normally Monday to Friday 9 – 5 pm however there may on occasion be need for a limited amount of out of hours working.

You must be motivated to support people to lead full and positive lives by practising in a way that focuses on individuals achieving their personal outcomes.  

You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working independently with people who use our services. Experience and confidence in using technology, including websites, the internet, and electronic recording systems is essential. Experience or knowledge of equipment to support activities of daily living is required. The ability to work jointly with other disciplines is essential.

You will have knowledge and experience of working in a community care setting and/or direct experience of working with people with a range of community care needs.

We are particularly interested to hear from candidates who have a relevant qualification, such as the HNC in social care.

Full and part time permanent and temporary posts are available across three locality teams.
