Days and Hours of Work:
5/7 following a 2 week rota of early and late shifts:
Early Shift (E) 07.00 -14.30 Late Shift (L) 14.00 -21.30
Week 1: MON E, TUE L, WED L, THU E, FRI E, SAT OFF and SUN OFF
Week 2: MON L, TUE L , WED E, THU OFF, FRI OFF, SAT L and SUN E

To assist in the provision of personal care and support to residents in order to achieve agreed outcomes in line with National Care Standards.

Educated to SVQ Level 2 in Social Care (or equivalent) or a willingness to achieve the SVQ Level 2 in the first period of registration to meet the SSSC registration requirements.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
All preferred candidates for posts carrying out regulated work with these groups will be required to become a PVG Scheme member, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if they are already a member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made by East Lothian Council.
