£27,854 – £29,074 pro rata (including shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)

We are seeking to recruit individuals who are highly motivated towards providing high quality services to older people in our extra care facility. You will be required to undertake tasks as delegated by senior staff, but also need to be able to use your own initiative at times. The post requires adherence to Care Standards and Codes of Practice as well as a positive attitude towards optimum fulfillment of older people’s lives.

You should hold an SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or other relevant qualification to enable registration with the SSSC as a Support Worker in a Care Home Service for adults, or achieve this within 5 years of appointment. You must also register with SSSC within 6 months of appointment.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.
