Job Description

Requirements

As one of the largest services provided by the Council and the HSCP, the Care at Home service plays a critical role in enabling individuals to remain at home in a way that promotes their wellbeing, dignity, privacy, respect and personal choices.

The Care at Home Service is embarking on a service redesign to facilitate the modernisation of the service and ensure that it is well placed to meet the future needs of service users its staff.

As Service Development & Quality Officer you will be responsible for supporting the Service Development & Quality Manager in developing and implementing a programme plan underpinned by detailed project plans that support the redesign of the service.

• You will support project plans with objectives aligned to the Care at Home Improvement work streams, plan project work and undertake work within expected timescales.
• You will contribute to the design of services as directed by the Service Development & Quality Manager and the Implementation Board.
• Develop and co-ordinate systems to track, monitor and report progress on the delivery of the service re-design.
• Co-ordinate a range of management information to inform the work of the Improvement Board and it’s work-streams.
• Contribute to consultation and effective liaison with employees, service users and other stakeholders in relation to the redesign of services.
• You will assist in the development of new policies and guidelines to improve service delivery in conjunction with National Health and Care Standards and the Council’s Care at Home Standards.
