An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced individual to join our team as a Housing Officer within the homelessness team where you will be responsible for delivering a homelessness service to our customers therefore, you should have experience of working within a housing related environment and have a good knowledge of related issues and current legislation in relation to homelessness.
Knowledge of other Housing Services would be an advantage.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance of policy and procedures by monitoring and auditing information and ensuring that complaints are processed according to standards.
Excellent IT skills are required as well as the ability to organise and prioritise workload in an effective way and to respond and adapt to changing priorities required in delivering a quality service. You should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to liaise effectively with a variety of agencies.
You will be eligible to participate in South Lanarkshire Council’s Car Pool Scheme as it would be advantageous to have access to a vehicle for business purposes if required to travel to alternative locations
