12 hour shifts, 4 days on then 4 days off. 0700 to 1900 (days 1 & 2) and 1900 to 0700 (days 3 & 4)
Housing & Technical Resources require SIA trained CCTV Operators to deliver the effective monitoring of CCTV to support and enhance safer environments.
You will act as a primary link to all stakeholders including Police Scotland’s local Area Control Room and other Council departments to help detect and prevent crime and anti-social behaviour within the community. You will also be responsible for the out of hours security monitoring of Council properties and all other related issues.
You will be responsible for the security, operation and control of CCTV equipment within the Control Centre and ensure that all records are maintained in accordance with Operational Procedures.
You will be required to demonstrate an ability to organise and prioritise your workload and have the ability to respond and adapt to changing priorities to ensure delivery of a quality service. Therefore excellent communication and IT skills are essential.
Foreign Police Check
Candidates should be able to detail any gaps in employment and provide a foreign police check where applicable for any periods living or working abroad.
