South Lanarkshire Justice Services are recruiting for a permanent social work team leader to our Unpaid Work Services. The role requires supervision of case management staff and oversight of Unpaid Work Community Payback Orders. The post holder will take a lead role in developing our other activity programme, kitchen learning hub and Whole Systems Approach unpaid work project.
The post holders main work base will be Auchentibber, Blantyre however regular travel to our Lanark base will be required.
We welcome applicants who hold a Social Work Diploma or equivalent and are registered with SSSC. Previous social work management experience is desirable but not essential.
Applicants require to have a strong value base with working with Justice service users and a keen interest in working within our service.
The post requires the preferred candidate to undertake ViSOR vetting as a requirement of the role.
