South Lanarkshire Health & Social Care Partnership are excited to be appointing a Self-directed Support Team Leader to lead the Scottish Government’s Self-directed Support.
You will be part of the Adult and Older People’s Services Management Team. The post holder will be directly managed by the Self Directed Support Manger and will be co located with the Self-directed Team.
The Team Leader will support with the ongoing development for the delivery of Self-directed Support(SDS), engage with key partners to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience around SDS, and assist the local implementer to personalise their processes and systems, drawing on existing local expertise and insight from implementation best practice.
The Team Leader will also work closely with other professionals in health and social care in a statutory position, and their role is to adhere to the laws that exist.
This is an opportunity for either an experienced social worker/practitioner or an existing manager who wishes to extend their knowledge and experience within a specialised team. The role specifically will support the localities on all matters relating to Self-directed Support. The successful candidate will also be required to deliver training and briefing events and participate in any meetings relating to SDS.
