An opportunity has arisen for a committed professional who wants to play a major role in work which helps to protect vulnerable adults from the risk of harm. The Adult Protection Development Worker, will report to the Adult Protection Lead Officer and will support the development of strategies, practice development in relation to Adult Support and Protection and the production of appropriate policies, practice and procedures for Adult Protection Work within the South Lanarkshire area.
The Adult Protection Committee is responsible for continuous improvement, public information, communication and strategic planning. It has active representation and engagement from an extended range of partner organisations. Applicants must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding in the application of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act.
All applicants must hold a professional qualification in Social Work, Health or Police and be registered with the appropriate professional body.
