The aim of Social Work Resources is to promote social welfare and provide effective care and support to meet the needs of vulnerable people in South Lanarkshire.
In partnership with community planning partners, voluntary and independent provider organisations, we offer a range of services designed to enable, support, improve and protect the health and social care of people using our services.
The Centre is operational Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm offering support to elderly people with various disabilities.
The co-ordinator will be required to assist in the day to day running of the centre and will be responsible for providing support and guidance to staff and service users.
You will undertake the co-ordination of day care services, deploying and directing employees to meet the needs of the service. You will ensure the Senior Day Care Worker is kept informed in relation to the delivery of day care services within the neighbourhood centre as appropriate.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a SVQ in Social Care Level 3 or HNC, or be willing to work towards gaining these qualifications.
To keep the Senior Day Care Worker informed as to the delivery of day care services within the Neighbourhood Centre.
To communicate information to the Senior Day Care Worker/Manager.
To maintain a healthy, safe and secure workplace.
To keep accurate records relating to staff and service users and provide statistical information.
To redirect/deploy and reallocate people and tasks.
