Could you be part of a team enabling Sheltered Housing tenants to live as independently as possible in their own home? Are you the kind of person who already has the skills and experience to make a difference? Or are you looking to develop a career in housing while supporting Sheltered Housing tenants?
As a Sheltered Housing Officer with Aberdeenshire Council, you will provide support and assist people to maintain their tenancy and live independently in their own Sheltered Housing accommodation, and as part of their local community.
There are Sheltered Housing Schemes located in across Aberdeenshire, we are looking for keen individuals with a flexible approach to join the Sheltered Housing team in Fraserburgh Area. The working pattern is from 8.45am to 5.00pm between Monday and Friday, and alternative weekends from 9.00am to 1.00pm. The successful candidate must have a valid driving license and willingness to travel.

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
This post will require you to have obtained SSSC registration within 3 months of employment.
This post has a minimum requirement of two references, one of these must be your current or most recent employer.
