Service Manager (Sketty) – Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs

Do you want to work for a company that enables people to live a fuller, more independent life? Our client is a large care provider who are seeking a Service Manager in Swansea, to continue to build upon this mission.

Your new role

You will be a Service Manager for a supported living service with 3 bedrooms (currently fully occupied) for vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. In this position you will be responsible for the daily running of the service, managing and developing the staff team, quality assurance and continuous improvement. This is the perfect hybrid leadership role for someone who is a strong senior support worker or deputy looking to take their next step, or a current service manager looking for a new opportunity. You will be doing managerial work for 3 out of 5 of your shifts, and then the other 2 will be hands on. You are responsible for the rota, so you do have a level of flexibility with which 2 days you support.

What you’ll need to succeed

• QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care
• Demonstrable experience in Adults Care
• Experience leading and supervising a team
• Working knowledge of Welsh regulations and legislation
• Strong written and verbal communication and IT skills
