West Dunbartonshire HSCP is seeking to appoint to an exciting and challenging role of Service Manager – Learning Disability. The main purpose of the role is to be accountable for the management and delivery of a range of services for Learning Disability and Transitions for West Dunbartonshire Health & Social Care Partnership incorporating operational, strategic and quality aspects combined with the future development of the service.
Educated to degree level (or with equivalent experience), you will draw upon your experience of working in a related field where you’ll have specific previous experience in Learning Disability and Transitions, you must be a qualified Social Worker registered with SSSC, or registered with NMC or HCPC and be able to evidence your operational management experience in Learning Disability services and Adult Support and Protection practice.
Working autonomously as well as part of a team, you will share the HSCP’s values of care, honesty, empathy, compassion and respect which will be demonstrated throughout your work and so too your ability to seek and provide constructive feedback on an ongoing basis to drive professional development.
