An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an additional Senior Manager to the Children’s Health Care and Justice Leadership Team.
These services form part of West Dunbartonshire‘s Health and Social Care Partnership’s and investment in Children’s Services has been supported by our Integrated Joint Board initially for a fixed term for 2 years.
The successful candidate will play a lead role in the improvement journey within West
Dunbartonshire Children’s services and key to implementation of a new Initial Response Team, pre-birth and early help and family support services.
We are looking for a self-motivated caring and compassionate leader with significant experience of managing social work services at a strategic level and be able to demonstrate the collaborative leadership approach necessary to realise West Dunbartonshire’s vision aligned to The Promise and a fully embedded GIRFEC approach.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children/Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
