Your new role
You will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of service to deliver the highest quality of care to meet both internal and external requirements while ensuring the service user is placed at the centre of the service philosophy. You will be managing a staff team Staffing team of approximately 35 staff, this includes 1 full time coordinator and 1 part time coordinator. You will be liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring the service continues to meet the level 5 grade awarded in previous audits. You will have a focus on growth and how to drive the hours of the service forward and as the service grows, the number of office support staff will be appointed to compliment this.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be registered with the SSSC or be eligible for registration
To maintain all SSSC registration requirements
To have a level 9 qualification in Health & Social Care which includes the practical element
The ability to lead and motivate a team and provide a clear sense of direction to staff
and service users
Effective financial and budget management
Person Centred Planning
Good Communicator – both written and verbal
Enthusiastic and self-motivated. A flexible, imaginative and pro-active approach
Possess the resilience and ability to deal with pressure within a range of situations
Holds full driving licence and have access to a vehicle
