Hays Social Care Northampton are working closely with a highly reputable organisation supporting vulnerable children and young people aged 5 to 18 who have experienced significant trauma and/or abuse. They are committed to providing the highest quality of care taking a person centred and therapeutic approach to each of the children’s needs.
Your new role
As a service manager you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality of care to children and young people within the service. You will be responsible for the daily delivery of all care services along with planning developments and team management responsibilities. Within this role it is vital the needs of the young people are always top priority ensuring the best outcomes for each child within the home.
What you’ll need to succeed
It is essential you hold a recent Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services qualification. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a residential childcare setting and have a high level of knowledge around safeguarding, child protection and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication and take an enthusiastic and committed approach to their role as a service manager.
