We are recruiting an experienced youth worker for a fixed term 1 year 25 hour post across Preston, Seton and Gosford. The youth worker will lead 3 youth sessions a week, both in centres and on outreach as well as working with the Connected Communities Manager to develop targeted work in partnership with schools, police, Anti-social behaviour team and social work.
We are looking for a passionate youth worker, who has a track record of engaging young people who would not normally engage in youth work provision.
Facilitate personal, social and educational growth in young people across East Lothian,
assisting them to reach their full potential in society. Responsible for designing, planning, organising and overseeing community programmes designed to redress inequalities and facilitate the personal, social and emotional development of young people within East Lothian with a view to encouraging them to actively participate and engage with a range of activities in a club or group setting, widening the scope for activity beyond the confines of the club or group setting.
