We are seeking a skilled, motivated and inspirational Senior Worker to join our management team.

We require a Senior Worker who will be responsible for the day to day operational management Tremanna Children’s House, and work flexibly providing management cover over both houses.
You will be the Registered Manager for Tremanna and be responsible for the duty’s attached to this in accordance to Care inspectorate requirements.
You will be committed to the Council of the Future agenda as well as the service specific priorities within the Children’s’ Services Closer to Home Strategy and The Promise.
You will support the Team Manager to lead the service through a process of change and development.
You will contribute to the service development plans and their effective implementation for both houses and oversee staff training and development.
You will promote a culture of continuous improvement and undertake quality improvement tasks.
You will have responsibility for staff support and supervision and managing staff time.
You will contribute to management of the budget .
You will be responsibility for overseeing health and safety and ensuring the service fulfils its statutory responsibilities.
You will lead in promoting trauma informed practice.
You will be involved chairing meetings and attending reviews.
Postholder will require to have a Degree in Social Work or equivalent and SVQ 4, Residential Management registration with SSSC and experience of management withing a residential childcare service are essential requirements for the post as is the ability to maintain PVG membership. The postholder will have had supervisory experience.
Knowledge and experience of relevant legislation, best practice and innovation in a relevant field is essential.
You must have the ability to be mobile across the Council area.
