Senior Residential Care Worker Job In Wrexham Supporting children from a CSE background – Full time

Your new role
You will be supporting young people from a CSE background, who sometimes display behaviours that challenge. Your role includes but is not limited to the below:

• Support the care team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people
• Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate. To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people
• Offer supervision and support to carers in line with quality standards & regulations and as directed by the registered manager. To promote MDT approach and engage/lead weekly MDT meetings with clinical and education services on site.
• Assist the deputy manager and manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the statement of purpose and uphold the organisations mission statement and values.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Level 3 in Residential Child Care. (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year’s relevant supervisory experience. (Required)
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a residential setting with young people with challenging behaviour. (Required)
• Hold a valid Driving licence (Required
• Minimum age requirement of 21 years of age (Required)
• Level 4 in Residential Child Care (Desired)
