We are looking to appoint a Senior Social Worker for the Integrated Adult Services team within West Dunbartonshire’s HSCP, who will manage and co-ordinate the delivery and development of Integrated Health and Social Work services.
The team is well established and includes three other Senior Social Workers. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment where we offer plenty of opportunities for development.
The post holder will provide assessment, review and care management service to adults, and their carer’s, to be carried out within the framework of legislation, relevant policies and procedures. They will promote social inclusion and health and wellbeing of individuals.
The successful candidate will have a strong sense of professional identity, have relevant experience and compassionate with a sound understanding of Self Directed Support, Adult Support and Protection and Adults with Incapacity legislation.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
