Senior Social Worker 
City Wide – Residential Review Team

Salary: £38,340 – £45,385
Hours: 36 per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership’s Residential Review Team, hosted and based in SE Locality. 

The team is based in SE Locality, Captains Road Social Work Centre

You will lead and line manage a team of social workers and community care assistants reviewing adults over 65 in care home placements across the city and in other local authorities. 

You will lead on Adult Support and Protection Cases and Large Scale Enquiries if required. Therefore Knowledge and experience of adult support and protection is essential as well as working with complex cases.

Experience working within a multidisciplinary team is also desirable .

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.  For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
