Cunningham House is a Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership Resource Centre situated in Grangemouth. Traditionally, we were a 24-hour care home providing quality care to older adults living with Dementia. The Service has begun a transition where we now provide support to adults requiring Reablement Focused Care alongside our current Resident Group.

Our purpose is to not only continue providing specialist care for older people with Dementia in a safe, homely environment but to also enhance the care experienced by individuals needing Rehab to live independent lives, with the primary focus on integration back into the community.

We have a well-established team who place those we support at the heart of everything we do, and we promote a calm and homely environment for the people who live here and use the service.

You must have experience of providing professional care and support to older people and have knowledge and understanding of Dementia. You must have good organisational skills, ideally experience at leading teams, effective communication skills, an ability to work on your own initiative and have proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

You will be experienced in the supervision and support of a large team of Social Care Staff and be able to manage effective delivery service in the absence of the manager.

This post requires an individual who can actively participate as an integral part of the Resource Centres management team in the development and delivery of the highest possible quality of care.

An SVQ Level 3 in Social Care is essential for the post. You will require to also complete Supervisory units of SVQ 4 or have an SVQ Assessors Award.

The Post is Part Time and consists of Evening and Weekend Working as Per Shift Rota.
