Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership have an opportunity to recruit a permanent Senior Social Care Worker for Tigh a Rudha Residential Care Home on the beautiful Island of Tiree.
Applications are welcome from appropriately qualified and experienced individuals who would like to take on a new challenge and change of lifestyle. This role is key to the continuing development of the service and the successful applicant will be expected to have SVQ4 or be willing to work towards this. There will also be further training appropriate to the role. There is a relocation package attached to this post and there is a distant islands allowance of £2,235 per annum.
Tiree is the most westerly of the Inner Hebridean Islands and for those who live there provides an idealistic living experience with miles of white sandy beaches, an abundance of birds and wildlife, a wide range of sporting and community activities. Tiree has a close knit and friendly community of approximately 650. The island is relatively easy to access with regular ferry crossings and flights from both Glasgow and Oban.
