Requirements

Your qualifications will meet SSSC registration requirements for Supervisors in Housing Support Services, or you will have the ability to obtain such a qualification within the required timescale.

Responsibilities

You will ensure that the Sheltered Housing Wardens provide a service which will enable their tenants to enjoy a secure and comfortable environment, and live as independently as possible in their own home, all to agreed performance standards.

Also, the Senior Sheltered Housing Warden will be an active member of the team.

The Individual

You will have knowledge of and experience in the Sheltered Wardens Service, with good communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to deal sensitively with people and IT skills.

You will have the ability to work as part of a team, work independently and on own initiative. You will be required to participate in a rota covering 7 days a week with some evening working.

A full driving licence is essential.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
